Following his successful hip replacement surgery, Regis Philbin will rejoin co-host Kelly Ripa on “LIVE! With Regis and Kelly” on Monday, January 4, 2010.
 
Joining Philbin and Ripa for Philbin’s first week back are guests Amy Adams (“Leap Year”), Gabourey Sidibe (“Precious”), Tim Allen (“Crazy on the Outside”), Jenna Elfman (“Accidentally on Purpose”), Chris Meloni (“Law & Order: SVU”), “American Idol” singer Katharine McPhee and heroic airline pilot Capt. Chesley B. Sullenberger.
 
Later in the month, the hosts will welcome Harrison Ford (“Extraordinary Measures”), Denzel Washington (“The Book of Eli”), Jeff Bridges (“Crazy Heart”), Glenn Close (“Damages”) and Kiefer Sutherland (“24”).
 
Also on January 4, Philbin and Ripa will kick off NEW YEAR, NEW YOU! GUIDE TO BETTER EATING WEEK, with important information about how to eat healthy and stay healthy in the new year.
