Sinclair Updates on Status of ABC Affiliation Agreements

Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: SBGI),  announced that the affiliation agreements with the ABC Network for nine stations it owns and/or operates have been extended until February 28, 2010 while the two sides continue to negotiate.  The network affiliation agreements were due to expire on December 31, 2009 and, as Sinclair had previously announced, had been extended by one-month.
