ABC7 is the West Coast flagship of the ABC television network. The station's offices and studio are located in Glendale, California.

ABC7 is the most-watched television station in Southern California. As the leader in HD programming, Eyewitness News were the first newscasts broadcast in high-definition in Southern California.

On May 10, 1956, the ancestor of what was to become KFSN-TV ABC30 began its television service to Fresno and the San Joaquin Valley.

In 1971, the station was purchased by Capital Cities, Inc. Today, ABC30, a Disney Company, is the most watched television station in the Central Valley with more than 30 years of leading news ratings, and abc30.com is the number one local television news website.

WABC-TV is licensed in New York City to ABC7. It began operating on August 10, 1948, and celebrated its sixtieth anniversary in 2008.

ABC7 is owned by the American Broadcasting Company, Inc. The Walt Disney Company owns ABC, Inc. Over a four-week period, WABC-TV will be viewed in over 5.3 million TV households.

ABC7 is the Midwest flagship of the ABC television network. The station's offices and studios are located in the Loop in downtown Chicago.

ABC7 leads the market in local news coverage with daily newscasts from 4:30 to 7 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., 4:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m., and 10:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

ABC7 also offers local news on Saturday and Sunday mornings and at 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. ABC7 has been in a number one position in local news since March 1986.

For over half a century, 6ABC has been broadcasting programs to viewers in the Delaware Valley, an area covering Southeastern Pennsylvania, Delaware and Southern New Jersey, currently representing over 8 million people.

6ABC was the first affiliate of ABC-TV and on April 1, 1998, the station celebrated its 50th anniversary with the network.
