Mark Crumpton

Mark CrumptonBloomberg Television anchor Mark Crumpton is a Bloomberg “pioneer,” originally hired by company founder Michael Bloomberg in 1992. He calls being part of the team that launched Bloomberg Television and Bloomberg News an honor and one of the highlights of his career.

Crumpton, based in New York City, has interviewed numerous business leaders for Bloomberg Television including Nobel Laureate Robert Mundell, U.S. Ambassador to Pakistan Anne Patterson, former AFL-CIO Secretary Treasurer Richard Trumka, California State Treasurer Bill Lockyer, former U.S. Defense Secretary William Cohen, TARP Committee Chairman Elizabeth Warren and Eli Lilly Chairman and CEO John Lechleiter.

A 30-year veteran of broadcast journalism, Crumpton has anchored and reported news for morning drive radio in major media markets including WBLS-FM in New York and WBGO-FM in Newark, NJ. Crumpton has earned nine national, state, and local awards for journalistic excellence and community service. He began his career as a radio producer at a number of stations in Pittsburgh, PA.
