Bloomberg a Possible Dow Jones Index Buyer?

Bloomberg Television's Jon Erlichman reported yesterday on the potential bidders for the Indexing unit of Dow Jones, including the famous Dow Jones Industrial Average.  In his report, he names both MSCI, a competing indexing company which specialises in institutional indexing moreso than benchmarking, but also that there could be the possibility of a competing bid from Bloomberg LP, of course the owners of Bloomberg Television.
