Haslinda Amin is a news correspondent and anchor for Bloomberg Television.
Based in Singapore, Amin has reported on a number of important events throughout Southeast Asia and the Indian subcontinent including presidential and legislative elections, the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forums, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations meetings and President Barack Obama's first visit to Asia.
Haslinda has also interviewed a wide range of newsmakers for Bloomberg Television, including Singaporean former Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew, Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak, Philippine President Gloria Arroyo and U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner.
Amin began her career more than a decade ago at Radio Singapore International, where she reported on Asian politics and business news. She joined Bloomberg Television in 2002.
Haslinda Amin graduated from the National University of Singapore.
