World Financial Crisis: Networks to Carry Bush Statement at 9:01pm ET

All the news networks in the US are to carry a statement from President Bush this evening at 9:01pm ET, as he addresses the nation on the state of the economy and the on-going negotiations on Capitol Hill. In another interesting development of the world financial crisis today, Sen. John McCain announced that he would be suspending his presidential campaigning, in order to return to Washington DC and take part in the bailout negotiations. He has also requested that Friday night's televised presidential debate be postponed so that the bailout talks could continue.
