CBS News' Face The Nation's Winning Streak Over ABC Continues

CBSCBS News' Face The Nation's winning streak continues. For the third week in a row, Face The Nation beat ABC in viewers and key demographics, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Sunday, January 17. The CBS broadcast posted 2.4/6 in households, 3.33m in viewers, 0.9/04 in adults 25-54, tied for first with NBC, and 1.1/4 in "boomers" adults 35-54.

Face The Nation was the only Sunday morning public affairs broadcast to post gains in households and in viewers, up +9% in households (from 2.2/06), +5% in viewers (from 3.18m).

On the broadcast, Bob Schieffer interviewed President Bill Clinton; President George W. Bush; General P. K. Keen, SOUTHCOM; Rajiv Shah, USAID; CBS News' Chief National Correspondent Byron Pitts; National Correspondent Jeff Glor; and Medical Correspondent Dr. Jennifer Ashton.

Face The Nation is broadcast Sundays (10:30-11:00 AM, ET; check local listings) on the CBS Television Network. Carin Pratt is the executive producer.
