CBS News is Nominated for 31 Emmy Awards

CBS News has been recognized by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) with an industry-leading 31 News and Documentary Emmy Award nominations for segments broadcast in 2009. Among the network's nominations, 60 Minutes received 16 and CBS Evening News with Katie Couric was honored with eight. 48 Hours Mystery and Sunday Morning each garnered three and CBS Evening News Weekend Edition was recognized with one.
The 31st Annual News and Documentary Emmy Awards will be presented on Monday, Sept. 27, at a ceremony at Frederick P. Rose Hall, Home of Jazz at Lincoln Center, located in the Time Warner Center in New York. Details of the nominated broadcasts are as follows:
