CNBC Broadcasts Special Report 'Debt Threat: States of Pain'

On Thursday, March 11th, CNBC, First in Business Worldwide, will broadcast a series of special report s entitled "Debt Threat: States of Pain," exposing the severe fiscal crisis at the state, town and city level and what it means to you. Could short-sighted decisions by ill-informed state and local government officials literally undermine America's competitiveness setting up a bleak future for our children in an increasingly global economy?

Beginning on CNBC’s "Squawk Box" (6AM-9AM ET) through CNBC’s"The Kudlow Report" (7PM ET), CNBC will investigate the complex patchwork of fiscal fires blazing across America. CNBC will tell you how to go "long" America by investing in policies, projects and tools that will empower a grassroots economic recovery.

CNBC will report from coast to coast with CNBC’s Jane Wells live in California, CNBC Senior Correspondent Scott Cohn live in Miami and CNBC’s Bertha Coombs reports from Main Street in New Jersey's Harding Township.

Guests include Paul Ingrassia, Author of "Crash Course: The American Automobile Industry's Road from Glory to Disaster," California State Treasurer Bill Lockyer and Frank Troise, Senior Portfolio Manager at Soho Asset Management, among others.
