Squawk Box Europe and Asia Go on the Road

CNBC Squawk BoxCNBC takes its flagship programme, Squawk Box, on the road to Thailand for the first time. Hosted by European anchor, Geoff Cutmore, and Asian anchor, Martin Soong, the weeklong programme begins broadcast on Monday, September 20, 2010.

Segments from Squawk Box’s Thai programming will air in both Squawk Box Europe and Squawk Box Asia every day.

Despite weeks of bloody anti-government protests earlier in the year, Thailand's economy is booming. The government and the International Monetary Fund estimate the economy will grow by around 8% in 2010, making it the strongest growth story in South East Asia.

Squawk Box goes on the road to Thailand to take the pulse of the country by talking to its key players, including top CEOs, influential financial experts and government officials about what the future holds for Thailand’s economy and market.
