CNBC Africa
CNBC Africa is a television service for Sub-Saharan Africa which was launched by
CNBC and Africa Business News Limited on June 1, 2007.
CNBC Africa is headquartered in Sandton, Johannesburg. Initially,
CNBC Africa will have bureaus in Nairobi (Kenya), Abuja and Lagos (Nigeria), Cape Town (South Africa) and London. The channel will produce 9 hours local programming per business day.
CNBC Africa will be anchored by Bronwyn Nielsen, Byron Kennedy, Alishia Naidoo, Leigh Roberts, Peter Ndoro, Lerato Mbele, Nikiwe Bikitsha and Mandlakazi Mpahlwa. The channel will also feature programmes and updates from
CNBC Europe, the Middle East, India, Pakistan, the US and other CNBC affiliates around the world.
