Axel Threlfall

axelthrelfallAxel Threlfall was one of CNBC's main presenters, spending four years at the network. He hosted "European Market Watch" for three years, interviewing dozens of chairmen, CEOs and CFOs from the world's most successful companies.  Axel was a news reporter earlier in his career with The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg and ITN, in both London and New York.

Bob O'Brien

bobobrienBob O'Brien is an on-air stocks editor with The Wall Street Journal Television/CNBC television, reporting breaking news and analysis about publicly traded companies on a host of CNBC news programs, including "Wake-Up Call," "Morning Call" and "Power Lunch." O'Brien has been in his current assignment with CNBC television since Fall 2002. He is also anchor of the CNBC World program, "Foreign Exchange."

Charles Gasparino

Charles GasparinoCharles Gasparino appears as a daily member of CNBC's ensemble. Gasparino, in his role as on-air Editor, provides reports based on his reporting throughout the day and has broken some of the biggest stories affecting the financial markets in recent months. He is also a columnist for Trader Monthly Magazine, and a freelance writer for New York Magazine, Forbes and other publications.

Before joining CNBC, Charles Gasparino was a senior writer at Newsweek magazine where he broke major stories involving politics, Wall Street and Corporate America, including the developments at the New York Stock Exchange, former New York City Police Commissioner Bernard Kerik’s controversial nomination to Home Land Security chief, and New York State Attorney General Eliot Spitzer’s continuing crackdown on corporate crime.

Clare Garnett

Clare GarnettClare Garnett is co-host of "Strictly Money," CNBC's new UK business and money programme.

Clare has more than six years broadcast news experience. From 2005 till 2008, she was based in Moscow working at the English language, 24-hour international news channel Russia Today, where she anchored the channel's business programming.

Daniel Mann

Daniel MannDaniel Mann joined CNBC Europe in 2000 as a markets reporter and occasional presenter, appearing throughout the business day on all of the networks programmes.  He also presented the European updates during US programming in the afternoon and into the evening.  He left CNBC in 2007 to join Shooter Fund Management as a director.  Prior to joining CNBC Europe, Daniel was a bond trader on the London International Financial Futures Exchange (LIFFE), where he met the founder of Shooter Fund Management, Mark Shooter.  He is married to the former Sky News reporter and presenter, Juliet Errington.

Dylan Ratigan

Dylan RatiganDylan Ratigan is the anchor and co-creator of CNBC's "Fast Money". Dylan also co-anchors "The Call" and the 3 p.m. hour of the "Closing Bell."

CNBC's "Fast Money" is a rapid-paced, highly charged hour where four of Wall Street's best traders debate and discuss the hot trades of the day. Ratigan serves as "The Commissioner" of "Fast Money", which now originates from the NASDAQ's MarketSite studio in New York's Times Square.

Emma Crosby

Emma CrosbyEmma Crosby is currently a presenter for the UK morning programme, GMTV on the ITV network.

After studying at Leeds University and the University of Cardiff's School of Journalism, she joined the BBC and became a producer on its rolling news channel, BBC News 24. Moving on from there, she worked for News Direct 97.3 and LBC before joining The Money Channel in 1999.

Jim Goldman

Jim Goldman Jim Goldman was named CNBC's Silicon Valley Bureau Chief in Nov. 2003. He is responsible for coordinating all Silicon Valley and Northern California business and technology news for the network, both as an on-air reporter and producer. He is also a frequent contributor to the weekend editions of "NBC Nightly News."

Goldman comes to CNBC after opening TechTV's Silicon Valley Bureau in 2001 and serving as the network's Silicon Valley Bureau Chief for two years. He covered technology news all over the United States, Australia, and Mexico. His report on a Florida-based chipmaker led NASDAQ to halt trading in its shares and federal investigators to expand their probe into the company's products. Goldman’s reports were regularly seen on CNN and ABC News.

Jo Sheldon

jo_sheldonJo Sheldon joined CNBC Europe as an anchor in 1998 where she presented and co-wrote the daily two-hour live business programme - Powerlunch and before this co–anchored the nightly programme, Europe Tonight. Prior to joining the network, she was an anchor and Executive Producer on European Business News (EBN), presenting the daily ‘Money Wheel’ programme, and Personal Finance programme ‘Your Money’. She presented and was Executive Producer of ‘Style Café’ and presented ‘Countdown to Euro’.  She transferred to CNBC Europe when it merged with EBN in 1998.  

Linda Behringer

Linda Behringer is a CNBC Europe correspondent based in Frankfurt. Before that she worked as journalist for German newspapers like the Süddeutsche Zeitung and the Tagesspiegel. She will replace Margaret Brennan on CNBC in late February 2009.

Manus Cranny

Manus CrannyManus Cranny joined CNBC Europe in March 2001 as a markets reporter and presenter.  He regularly co-anchored Squawk Box Europe with Geoff Cutmore, and appeared throughout the business day on other programmes.  Manus also presented the European updates throughout the US afternoon programming on the network.  Prior to joining CNBC, he was a futures and options trader with the First National Bank of Chicago.

Margaret Brennan

Margaret BrennanMargaret Brennan is currently a presenter for Bloomberg Television presenting business news during normal trading hours in the United States.  Prior to joining Bloomberg, she was a General Assignment Reporter for CNBC where she reported regularly for Business day programming and specializes on consumer spending and the retail industry. She also contributed to MSNBC and NBC News programmes. Brennan also anchored CNBC Marketwrap Updates for MSNBC, CNBC Asia and NBC Mobile.

Martin Baccardax

Martin BaccardaxMartin Baccardax is Economics Editor at CNBC, making regular appearances to CNBC programs including "Squawk Box Europe," "Worldwide Exchange" and "Power Lunch Europe."

Baccardax covers key finance and economic events, such as central bank policy decisions and interest rate decisions from the Monetary Policy Committee, which are reported live from outside the Bank of England. Baccardax also contributes to CNBC.com, writing a regular column on interest rates and credit market topics.

Maura Fogarty

Maura FogartyMaura Fogarty is a seasoned international journalist who has worked in Asia, the U.S. and the Middle East.

Fogarty co-anchors "Cash Flow" on CNBC Asia with Amanda Drury and also co-anchors "Capital Connection," a show that serves as the financial bridge between Europe and Asia, with CNBC Europe's Stephen Sedgwick in London. She is an important member of CNBC's Singapore-based team of correspondents, providing live reports on global financial markets, business and political news.

Mike Hegedus

Mike HegedusMike Hegedus is a CNBC special features reporter, covering business stories across the United States and overseas for CNBC's "On The Money."

Hegedus' feature segment, "Mike On The Money," appears on "On The Money" three nights a week. In addition, Hegedus is host of the hour program also titled, "Mike On The Money," which is seen on the network on market holidays.

Mike Huckman

Mike HuckmanMike Huckman is CNBC's Pharmaceuticals Reporter covering the drug, biotechnology and medical device industries. Huckman is based at the network’s global headquarters in Englewood Cliffs, N.J.

Huckman joined CNBC in September 2000 after nine years at WXYZ-TV in Detroit where he was one of the station’s lead reporters. Prior to WXYZ-TV, he served as a general assignment reporter at KGUN-TV in Tucson, Ariz., KBCI-TV in Boise, Idaho, and as an anchor/producer for the Montana Television Network.

Nicholas Hastings

nickhastingsNicholas Hastings is the senior foreign exchange correspondent for Dow Jones Newswires and is based in London. For several years he has written the newswires' "Forex Focus" column, which gives insight on where major currencies are headed. While his main beat is the foreign exchange market, he also helps cover British economics and politics, and Group of Seven policy. He appears daily on CNBC Europe and is a contributor on CNBC World's "Foreign Exchange" program.

Nigel Roberts

No Image AvailableNigel Roberts used to present CNBC's flagship European Market Wrap and Europe Tonight programmes in the late 1990's and early 2000's.  Generally seen as the networks most senior presenter, Roberts has a formidable broadcast pedigree with his experiences including being on the founding team of Channel Four News.  He has also worked for the BBC, CNN and ITN.  Whilst at CNBC, he also presented special coverage from many financial and political events across Europe including summits such as the annual Davos Economic Forum.

Rebecca Jarvis

Rebecca JarvisRebecca Jarvis is a general assignment reporter, based at CNBC's world headquarters. She can also be seen reporting live from the NASDAQ Market Site and the New York Mercantile Exchange.

To her reporting, Jarvis brings hands-on business experience in both investment banking and foreign currency trading. As an investment banker with Banc of America Securities, she analyzed and advised $6 billion in mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt transactions. Prior to that, she executed interest rate trades on Citigroup's foreign exchange desk in London.

Sabine Christiansen
