CNN's Future Cities Visits Chicago

CNN Future Cities in October heads to Chicago, United States.

Known as both the Windy City and Second City, Chicago has always had an evolving identity. Show host Richard Quest reports on how Chicago is trying to preserve much of what has always made it special while finally realising and embracing the elements that can take it to the next level.

The programme explores how Chicago's unforgettable skyline has inspired architects from around the world to make their mark while prompting Hollywood to flock to this natural film set. Future Cities also looks at the forgotten shoreline of this city, the Chicago River.

It was only ten years ago that the city acknowledged the great economic and natural prospects running right through it. From Second City to striving to be first, Chicago is finding its own way to make it an absolutely unforgettable city.
