Susan Hendricks

Susan Hendricks is a weekend anchor for HLN based in CNN's world headquarters in Atlanta.

Hendricks first joined HLN in 2002, and has covered breaking news stories such as the death of Ronald Reagan, the capture of Saddam Hussein and Hurricane Katrina. Susan has also interviewed several high profile news makers such as John McCain and Walter Cronkite, as well as celebrities Zach Braff and Matt Damon.

Prior to joining HLN Susan anchored a two-hour morning show on KMIR in Palm Springs, California. Previously she worked as a field reporter for KESQ where she covered national breaking news stories such as the trial involving U.S. Marines stationed at the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center in Twenty Nine Palms, California, who refused to take the anthrax vaccine. Hendricks started her journalism career at Comcast cable in Los Angeles.

Hendricks earned a bachelor's degree in mass communications from Arizona State University.
