Andrew Stevens

Andrew StevensAndrew Stevens is an anchor and correspondent based at CNN’s Asia Pacific headquarters in Hong Kong. He has been covering news on three continents for the past 25 years and co-anchors CNN’s live daily business show, World Business Today produced out of Hong Kong, London and New York. 

Stevens has reported on the most significant news stories from across the Asia Pacific region including the Mumbai terror attacks, Pakistan earthquake, and the Beijing 2008 Olympics. He anchored the network’s weeklong live programming from Mumbai titled ‘India Means Business’, reporting from sites around the city and interviewing key business leaders. 

Other landmark news events and stories he has reported on include CNN’s award-winning coverage of the Iraq war and the Asian tsunami, in addition to special reports for CNN on the social, political and economic development of Asia. 

Anjali Rao

Anjali RaoAnjali Rao anchors CNN’s prime-time program, World News Asia, live from the network’s Asia Pacific headquarters in Hong Kong. She also hosts Talk Asia, CNN’s weekly flagship half-hour program that features revealing, in-depth interviews and topical discussion with leading political, business and entertainment figures from across the region. 

Since joining CNN in January 2006, Rao has consistently led CNN’s coverage from Hong Kong of the biggest regional and global stories including explosions in Jakarta, ethnic riots in Xinjiang, the US election, the attack on Sri Lankan cricketers and the death of Michael Jackson. Around the region she has reported live from locations including Beijing before and during the 2008 Olympics, India for CNN’s EYE ON INDIA week of special programming and the Philippines during a hostage crisis. 

Anna Coren

Anna CorenAnna Coren is the anchor of weekday news program "World Report", broadcast live from the network's Asia Pacific regional headquarters in Hong Kong. 

Coren has been a journalist for more than a decade, reporting a broad portfolio of major international news. In her role at “World Report” to date, she has led the network’s coverage of stories including the global economic crisis; the political climate in Thailand, the disputed Iranian elections, North Korea’s nuclear tests and the humanitarian situation in Sri Lanka’s long-running civil conflict between the government and the Tamil rebels. 

Becky Anderson

Becky AndersonBecky Anderson is one of CNN's highest profile anchors and correspondents, based in London. A distinctive and versatile TV journalist, she is the anchor of CNN's flagship nightly news and business programme ‘Business International’. In addition, Anderson is regularly deployed to serve as lead anchor on location for breaking news stories.

Since joining CNN in 1999, she has covered a variety of momentous stories from around the world. In 2005, Anderson anchored from the heart of the earthquake zone, following the devastating quake that hit South Asia. She also played a lead role in the network’s extensive coverage of both the 7/7 terror attacks in London and the riots in Paris. In March 2003 Anderson travelled to Kuwait as part of the CNN’s international team in the Gulf where she played a critical role in the network’s continuous coverage of the war in Iraq from the company’s broadcast set-up in Kuwait City.

Charles Hodson

Charles HodsonCharles Hodson is anchor of the CNN International daily evening business programme ‘World Business Today’. Two editions of this in-depth programme round up the day’s business and financial market news and include keynote interviews with major business players and updates on Wall Street and the European markets.

During his time with CNN's news team in London, Hodson has interviewed some of the most powerful men in European government, including the European Commission President, Romano Prodi and German Chancellor, Gerhard Schröder.

Colleen McEdwards

Colleen McEdwardsColleen McEdwards is an anchor for CNN International. Based at CNN's world headquarters in Atlanta, she anchors World Business Today, a daily look at the latest financial news and analysis from around the world. 

McEdwards joined CNN International in the midst of Asia’s financial crisis and covered many aspects of that story, from the currency crises, to the collapse of the Suharto regime. Since then, she has reported from Russia, Europe and Asia covering major international stories like the Lockerbie bombing trial, the global threat of SARS, and the United States presidential election campaign. 

She has participated in several award-winning breaking news broadcasts on CNN International including the conflict between Israel and Lebanon, Hurricane Katrina, the tsunami in South Asia and the networks’ 2000 Millennium coverage. 

Errol Barnett

Errol BarnettErrol Barnett is an anchor and correspondent for CNN International, based at the network’s world headquarters in Atlanta. He regularly anchors weekend editions of ‘World Report’ and also hosts ‘iReport for CNN’, CNNI’s monthly show that reveals the most compelling videos, pictures and stories generated by CNN’s iReporters from all over the world. 

Since joining the network in 2008, Barnett has been integral in incorporating social media into CNN’s reporting of many breaking news events including the aftermath of the Iran elections; terrorist bombings in Jakarta; devastating earthquake in L’Aquila; deadly Turkish plane crash near Amsterdam; and the offensive between Israel and Gaza in early 2009. 

Fionnuala Sweeney

Fionnuala SweeneyFionnuala Sweeney is a news reporter and anchor for CNN, based in London from where she anchors the prime time evening European-focused news programme World News Europe. 

As a correspondent, Sweeney has reported from around Europe and the Middle East and amongst her many assignment has covered the London bombings. In 2004 she travelled around Eastern Europe for reports and packages on countries preparing to join the European Union, as part of CNN’s special coverage on EU enlargement. She reported from Israel and the Palestinian territories between September and November 2003 and covered the Israeli elections for CNN in February 2001. She has also interviewed the former Haitian President Jean-Bertrand Aristide in the days before his overthrow and travelled to Paris to cover Tom Ford’s last show for the Gucci Group. 

Hala Gorani

Hala GoraniHala Gorani is a reporter and anchor for CNN International and is based at CNN's headquarters in Atlanta. 

She anchors the 1p ET edition of International Desk, the weekday program that brings viewers into the heart of the largest newsgathering operation in the world, immersing them in the latest stories of the day. 

Gorani formerly hosted ‘Inside the Middle East’, the monthly show featuring stories on the most important social, political and cultural issues in the region. During her five years as host, she reported on several colorful and thought-provoking stories including poverty in oil-rich Bahrain; everyday struggles for artists living in Iraq; and gay life in the Middle East, which was a first on international television and earned a nomination for a Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) award. 

Isha Sesay

Isha SesayIsha Sesay is an anchor and reporter for CNN International based at the network’s global headquarters in Atlanta. She anchors the 10a ET edition of International Desk, the weekday program that brings viewers into the heart of the largest newsgathering operation in the world, immersing them in the latest stories of the day. 

She also hosts and reports for Inside Africa, CNN International’s award-winning, weekly program dedicated to providing viewers with an inside look at political, economic, social and cultural affairs and trends in Africa. 

A seasoned journalist, Sesay has covered numerous breaking news and world news events such as the kidnapping of British toddler, Margaret Hill, in the Niger Delta; death of Slobodan Milosevic; Liberia’s historic election of Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf; the hospitalization of Ariel Sharon; the foiled transatlantic plane bomb plot; the Israeli-Hezbollah war; the arrest of John Mark Karr in connection with the death of Jon Benet Ramsey; and the Live Earth concert in Johannesburg, South Africa. 

Jim Clancy

His career includes reporting on the events that have shaped history over the last quarter century. His interviews with international personalities reads like a "Who's Who" of our times. 

Based at CNN’s world headquarters in Atlanta, Clancy currently anchors 'The Brief', which airs weekdays at 11a ET. 

Jonathan Mann

Jonathan MannJonathan Mann is an anchor and correspondent for CNN International. Based in the network's Atlanta headquarters, Mann has more than 20 years experience in print, radio and television journalism. 

He currently anchors World Report and hosts Political Mann, CNN International's weekly, half-hour show focused on bringing international viewers an insightful and irreverent look at politics in the Barack Obama era. 

In addition to extensively covering the U.S. presidential election in 2008, Mann has covered a multitude of international news events, from the fall of the Berlin Wall and the last days of apartheid in South Africa to the release of Nelson Mandela from prison and the rise of Vladimir Putin as President of Russia. Every December Mann hosts "The Prize for Peace," a discussion with the winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, live from Oslo, Norway. Mann has reported on the war in Iraq, the Middle East conflict, the September 11th terrorist attacks and the sex scandal in the U.S. Catholic Church.

Kristie Lu Stout

Kristie Lu StoutKristie Lu Stout is an award-winning anchor/correspondent for CNN International. Recently named one of Forbes magazine’s ‘Nine Women to Watch’ in Asia, and winner of a prestigious Asian Television Award as “Best news presenter or anchor”, Stout hosts the evening edition of the network's “World Report” news program from CNN's Asia Pacific headquarters in Hong Kong.

Stout’s recent coverage of major news events for the network’s international audience has focussed heavily on the global economic crisis, with particular emphasis on its impact in the Asia-Pacific region. In addition she has led coverage of U.S. President Barack Obama’s first year in office, the deteriorating security environment in Pakistan and Afghanistan, as well as North Korea's rocket launch and efforts to rein in its nuclear ambitions.

Since joining the network in 2001, her extensive assignments around the region have included reporting live from Beijing to cover the city’s preparations for the 2008 Olympic Games, from Tokyo on Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao’s historic visit to Japan and live from Shanghai during CNN’s ‘Eye on China’ week of special programming.

Max Foster

Max FosterMax Foster is an anchor and correspondent for CNN International. 

Max joined the network in 2005 and one of his first assignments was hosting special coverage around the failing health of Pope John Paul II. He went on to become permanent co-anchor of CNN Today where he covered a long list of major events including the outbreak of the 2006 Israel-Lebanon conflict, the failed London bombings and the Saddam Hussein trial. He was the first to report the collapse of levees around New Orleans and he has fronted special coverage around British politics and the 2008 Mumbai bombings. He now anchors across CNN International’s flagship programmes, including Connect The World, and compiles special reports for them. 

Michael Holmes

Michael HolmesMichael Holmes is an anchor and correspondent for CNN International, based at the network's headquarters in Atlanta. 

Holmes is also the host of 'BackStory,' the weekday program that goes beyond the daily headlines to give the story behind the story. This unique show looks to capture the passion and emotion that goes into newsgathering and storytelling by presenting the personal accounts of eyewitnesses and CNN correspondents. 

Holmes, who joined CNNI in 1996 as the first Australian anchor for the network, has reported extensively from all corners of the globe including Asia, Europe, the Middle East, India, Nepal, Africa, Pakistan and Afghanistan.
