Monita Rajpal

Monita RajpalMonita Rajpal is a CNN news anchor on ‘World News’, a live, daily half-hour round-up of international news headlines. Based in London since the end of 2004, she also hosted ‘Art of Life’, CNN’s luxury lifestyle feature show. 

Since joining CNN in 2001, Rajpal has anchored many leading global and breaking news stories. In 2007, Rajpal interviewed former Russian President Mikhail Gorbachev, former Vice President Al Gore and the former Pakistani Prime Minister Benzir Bhutto, along with reporting on Tony Blair’s departure from government. In 2008 and 2009, Rajpal hosted and reported on CNN's ‘Luxury Week’, a series of reports on the luxury industry and the economic downturn where she interviewed CEOs of top brands such as Buglari, Chopard, and Cartier. Rajpal has also reported live on numerous occasions, including live transmissions from Delhi, India for CNN Today and hosted a CNN special ‘CNN Connects’, an hour long programme on India’s Generation Next. She also reported live from the Live Earth concert held at Wembley Stadium. 

Pauline Chiou

Pauline Chiou is an anchor and correspondent based at CNN's Asia Pacific regional headquarters in Hong Kong. 

Since joining the network, Chiou has reported live on location in Hong Kong on the release of hotel guests quarantined for a week due to the H1N1 flu virus, and from the candlelight vigil where thousands attended events marking the 20th anniversary of the incident at Tiananmen Square. She was also in Seoul, South Korea soon after North Korea’s second nuclear test and traveled to the Demilitarized Zone to cover reaction and the increased tension between the two nations. Whilst in Seoul, she was also on the ground with live reports from the funeral of former South Korean president Roh Moo-Hyun. Previously, Chiou worked for CNN based in Atlanta where her business experience has included reporting live from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange. 

Ralitsa Vassileva

Ralitsa VassilevaRalitsa Vassileva is an anchor for CNN International. Based at the network's global headquarters in Atlanta, she anchors World Report. 

Since she assumed her duties at CNN International in 1992, Vassileva has anchored coverage of many major international news stories including most recently Israel’s withdrawal from Gaza and the death of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi. In addition to her anchoring duties, Vassileva has reported in the field from places like Moscow, Jerusalem and the United Nations. 

She was on the air during CNN's coverage of the conflicts in Kosovo and Bosnia Herzegovina, the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, Russia's transition to democracy, Northern Ireland's peace agreement, the fall of Indonesia's President Suharto and East Timor's struggle for independence. Vassileva has also covered the UN weapons inspection crisis in Iraq, the September 11th attacks on the United States, the war against terrorism and the ongoing war in Iraq. 

Richard Quest

Richard QuestRichard Quest is one of the most instantly recognizable members of the CNN team; covering an extensive range of breaking news and business stories, as well as feature programming, he has become one of the network’s highest profile presenters. Quest is firmly established as an expert on business travel issues and currently works as a CNN anchor and correspondent. His regular programs include; Quest Means Business, CNN Business Traveller and his own hour-long feature program, Quest.

Quest’s dynamic and distinctive style has made him a unique figure in the field of business and news broadcasting. During his time at CNN he has reported on many of the major news events of recent years. His coverage of breaking news, which has spanned over two decades, has seen him report on a range of stories from the Iraq War, the death of Yasser Arafat and the Lockerbie Pan Am 103 crash.

Rosemary Church

Rosemary ChurchRosemary Church is an anchor for CNN International's rolling newscast 'Your World Today.' Based at the network's headquarters in Atlanta, Church has been with CNNI since 1998. 

In this role, she has anchored major world events such as the September 11th terrorist attacks against the United States; the war on terrorism in Afghanistan and most recently, the war on Iraq. She also has anchored during the NATO air strikes over Yugoslavia; the fall of former Yugoslav leader Slobodan Milosevic; the Palestinian militant ceasefire and Israeli troop withdrawal from northern Gaza and during East Timor's struggle for independence. 

Zain Verjee

Zain VerjeeZain Verjee is the co-anchor of CNN Today and World News with Don Riddell, based in the network's London bureau. 

Prior to this assignment, Verjee was the news presenter for The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer in Washington, D.C. She reported on a range of news stories and interviewed prominent foreign policy thinkers. Verjee covered the US State Department for CNN for two years closely following American foreign policy. She travelled with with Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice to more than a dozen countries, including Israel, Turkey, Libya, Russia and South Korea. 

During her time in Washington DC, Verjee launched an innovative series called The New Diplomat which looked at the dangers and challenges American diplomats face today.
