Tonight, Fox News lowered themselves to levels never seen before, to that of the ultimate disgrace. Rather than covering the catastrophic situation unfolding in Haiti, they chose to go with the pre-recorded programme where their big hitter O'Reilly interviewed the failed Vice presidential candidate, Sarah Palin.
Utterly disgusting.
People have died and are dying, there is poverty and destruction beyond what any of us can imagine, but instead of reporting this to the american people and the world, they want to broadcast political chaff.
MSNBC are just as bad, they also broadcast the Ed show and Hardball without any regard to what has been going on in the Carribbean.
The producers, directors and staff of Fox News and MSNBC should hang their heads in shame, they are a disgrace... Utter, Utter Disgrace.
Both channels no longer deserve to be classified in the 'news' genre, and should be shoved into either the teleshopping bracket, or at best, the entertainment sections until they can prove their own 'newsworthiness'.
Hats off to CNN, and the European news channels, Sky News and the BBC particularly, who covered the story extensively throughout the night last night. Now they are news channels...
