Tuesday, 10 April 2012 01:13
News on News has today implemented new technology inline with what its readers had demanded in a recent survey.
Included in the recent site update;
* Geo-located content; wherever in the world you are, you get news that is relevent to you, but you also have the ability to access other regions' news.
* Advertising free and accurate search function
* Further targeted content from broadcasters
NON Ltd's Managing Director Kevin Coy commented; "This Easter weekend's roll-out culminates in months of strategic data taken from our readers in the latter part of 2011, and we hope will increase our audiences moving forward.
"The media reporting niche is becoming very crowded and we want to stay ahead of the field in Europe and the Pacific region by introducing new techonogies in the next 18 months to enable us to do just that. This latest roll-out is just the start.
"It no longer matters where in the world you log into News on News, you'll immediately get the local media news to you, but if you want news from further afield, it's only a click away."
Coy also commented on the recent development that the UK's Intellectual Property Office granted NON Ltd, the owners of News on News a trademark on the name; "This is a massive development for the future of the company".
