Lou Dobbs, fresh from his departure from CNN, has begun his rounds of the media, kicking things off with an exclusive appearance on Fox News' 'The O'Reilly Factor'. Dobbs discussed many issues regarding what led to his departure from CNN, a potential future in politics - with rumours doing the rounds of a possible presidential bid, the shots fired at his house last month, and the controversial "birther" debate.
As we come to expect from O'Reilly, he didn't waste time laying into NBC News, but did pay CNN a semi-compliment, saying; "We don't have anything against CNN... I don't have anything against you guys." Dobbs responded; "It's those guys now."
The interview drew to a close with O'Reilly offering Dobbs a contributor position on the show, semi-regularly, which I'm sure Lou Dobbs will take up without question.
