A peak audience of 8.2 million watched last night’s 15th National Television Awards live from its new home at London’s O2.
The ITV1 show, hosted by Dermot O’Leary, was watched by an average of 7.4 million, 30 percent share of the audience, from 7.30pm to 10.00pm – the biggest audience for the awards since 2003.
The National Television Awards are the only television awards to be 100 percent voted for by the UK public in a huge nationwide poll. The award winners in full were:
