TODAYshow.com launches video timeline

Today ShowTODAYshow.com launched an interactive video timeline today giving consumers more ways to watch their favorite segments from America’s number 1 morning show.  The clean, interactive design allows viewers to easily navigate TODAY videos and find the daily segments they’d like to watch in the order that they appeared on the show.

The engaging video timeline features large images with a summary of each segment and a link to the video.  At the top of the timeline, each video has a segment marker which consumers can scroll over to view the headline and the time the story aired.  Viewers can scan headlines from each hour of the show, beginning at 7:00 a.m. (ET).

“We’ve made it easier for millions of consumers to come to TODAYshow.com and find their favorite segments,” said Catherine Captain, general manager of TODAYshow.com.  “The video timeline is a one-stop-shop for catching up on the latest news, interviews and segments that viewers missed or want to watch again and again.”

TODAYshow.com’s video timeline is the latest innovative feature launched on the site that enables consumers to construct their own news experience.  TODAYshow.com’s stories, interactive features and community resources empower consumers with the latest news, helpful tips and useful tools.

TODAY’s four-hour live broadcast provides the latest news, weather and interviews with newsmakers from the worlds of politics, business, media, entertainment and sports.  The program is unparalleled in its ratings dominance in the morning news arena, serving as America’s overwhelming favorite for more than 13 consecutive years.
