Ben Arnet

Ben Arnet joined YNN Buffalo as a sports reporter and anchor when the channel launched in March 2009.

Ben got his start in the sports TV business while still in high school. He worked as a sports photographer and editor at KMIZ-TV in Columbia, MO.

Ben is a proud graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism. He worked as a feature reporter, photographer and anchor at KOMU-TV in Columbia. Ben reported on the University of Missouri for the statewide "Mizzou Sports Network." He covered the Kansas City Chiefs and St. Louis Rams. Ben reported on the Rams during their run to the Super Bowl in 1999.

While working as sports anchor and reporter at KGUN-TV in Tuscon, AZ, Ben won the 2006 Arizona Association of Broadcasters Sports Story of the Year. Ben later worked at KAKE-TV in Wichita, KS.

Ben has also taught at the University of Missouri School of Journalism.

Ben lives in Buffalo with his fiancée Nicole. In their spare time they enjoy cooking, watching movies, exercising, playing tennis and getting to know the beautiful Western New York area.
