Hugh Wiley Named Publisher of Bloomberg Businessweek

Bloomberg Businessweek announced that Hugh Wiley has been named publisher. Mr. Wiley, who is currently publisher of Time Inc.’s FORTUNE, will be responsible for leading
Bloomberg Businessweek’s integrated sales team and driving all global advertising-based revenue for the magazine and Businessweek.com. He will begin his new role on June 28 and will report to Paul Bascobert, president,
Bloomberg Businessweek.

During his tenure at Time Inc. Wiley oversaw global advertising sales for a stable of business titles; numerous relaunches, repositionings, and redesigns; and launched multiple international expansions and licensing agreements. He is credited with growing advertising revenues and market share across multiple media platforms including
print, digital and events.
Prior to his current role at FORTUNE, he was the group associate publisher of the Time Inc. Business and Finance Network, and previously, publisher of Fortune Small Business. Mr. Wiley has also held numerous domestic and international sales director positions during his tenure at Time Inc., including executive vice president of sales and marketing for Time Inc. International, president of Time Inc. Latin America, publisher of Time Latin America, and international advertising director at Time.
Wiley is a graduate of Bowdoin College and lives in Connecticut with his wife and two children.
