Clear Channel Radio Philadelphia Teams Up With City Councilwoman Donna Reed Miller to Raise Money for Haiti

On Saturday, February 6th, to lend our support and do our part to help, Clear Channel Radio Philadelphia is teaming up with City Councilwoman Donna Reed Miller along with City Councilwoman Jannie Blackwell, City Councilman Curtis Jones, District Attorney Seth Williams, Pat Redmond of the Heart Of Philly Motorcycle Club, the Tri-State Motorcycle Community and MARBAR at Marathon Grill to raise money for the American Red Cross’ Haiti Disaster Fund. 

All six Clear Channel Philadelphia Radio Stations, which include WDAS-FM, Power 99, Radio 104.5, Q102, My106.1 and Rumba 1480-AM, will broadcast live from 10:00am to 6:00pm from MARBAR at Marathon Grill in University City located at the corner of 40th and Walnut Streets.  There will be live entertainment, Eagles Cheerleaders, refreshments courtesy of MARBAR and a Chinese Auction for items including a meet and greet with Steve Harvey, highly prized collectables, including a guitar signed by Nick Jonas and a football and jersey autographed by Donovan McNabb (comprehensive list below). 

American Red Cross volunteers will be on site to accept donations and MARBAR is donating a portion of their sales to the relief effort.  Councilwoman Donna Reed Miller said, “There’s so much devastation, so much illness, so much pain that we want to help that country get back together.”
