RT has made it into YouTube’s All-Time Top 100 Most Viewed Partners list, taking the place of President Obama’s channel with over 150 million views.
It is the first time a Russian project has broken into YouTube’s All-Time Top 100 of its 10,000 premium partners, overtaking Barack Obama’s channel, which has had a strong standing in the Top 100 of this international video service. Recently the most popular RT videos on YouTube have been footage of the heatwave in Russia, WikiLeaks revealing materials and storming of the Freedom Flotilla.
RT has been rated most viewed several times this year. In July, RT made it into the top 10 most viewed channels of the month in YouTube’s international rating. In August, RT topped 150 million views.
