Sky News Business Channel

The Sky News Business Channel, is a business news network broadcast by Sky News Australia, to the Australian sub-continent.  Taking much of its image and a third of its programming from the Fox Business Network, the Sky News Business Channel has entered an already crowded business news market in Australia, competing directly with CNBC Asia and Bloomberg.  The Channel is owned by Australian News Channel Pty Ltd. who broadcast Sky News Australia, the sister network of Sky News in the United Kingdom and Fox News in the US.

The channel simulcasts coverage from its counterpart in the US, the Fox Business Network, and in turn, FBN broadcast theirs when news warrents it.  Most of the presentation staff have derived from the business journalists and correspondents from Sky News Australia, and also provide updates to Sky News in the United Kingdom during the morning hours in the UK.
