Cricket Commentators Forced to Give Radio Commentary on Sky Sports

Cricket Commentators Forced to Give Radio Commentary on Sky SportsDuring Friday's first one-day international between India and England in the city of Hyderbad, Sky Sports unexpectedly lost its live television pictures following a disagreement with the rights holders.

David Lloyd and Nick Knight were commentating on the action at the time, and were forced to commentate on the action via a telephone line for around 15 minutes when the pictures were cut at just after 10am UK Time.

The blackout was caused by a problem which developed between the match rights holder, Nimbus and the Indian Cricket Board of Control.

Bumble, who is one of Sky Sport's most recognisable cricket commentators, was heard to mutter "Where's Aggers when you need him?", a direct comment regarding the top broadcaster on the BBC's long-running cricket radio commentary programme, Test Match Special.

The matter was swiftly resolved, and full coverage of the match resumed shortly after 10:15am UK time.
